In our post of 23rd June we gave advance notice of our intention to relocate our Registered Office as a consequence of the mismatch in lockdown ‘permitted travel rules’ between the Westminster government and Llywodraeth Cymru which severely challenged our ability to comply with our obligations under the Companies Act and from the Financial Services Authority.
Our internal review suggested that the travel restrictions imposed by Llywodraeth Cymru did NOT bring about a breach of the Companies Act, financial services regulation or law, but that this was due to good fortune, as our disaster recovery plan did not have provision for different travel rules across the three nations.
As COVID related restrictions are likely to be troublesome for some time to come, we remain focused on the need to have the right people in the right place, or, as our people are more important than places, we are specifically committed to having the right places near the right people.
Therefore we plan to push ahead with the relocation of our Registered Office. We expect to confirm in late September that our Registered Office has been relocated to Ransom Hall. We will amend all documentation in accordance with the Companies Act and the Financial Services & Markets Act at the point the relocation completes.
Sticking with our redefined principle of ‘right location next to right people’, we also give notice of our intention to relocate our Administration Centre from West Yorkshire to the Scottish Western Highlands within the next 12 months to coincide with the relocation of two key members of our team. We’ll update the address from the current PO Box 899 during 2021.
