We have undertaken another COVID Secure review.

As part of our COVID Secure review we have noted that service levels from product & investment providers seem to be improving with many of our outstanding enquiries now being resolved. However, we understand that most of providers are only returning a skeleton staff to their office space with most of their teams continuing to work from home.

We are content that our office environments are COVID Secure subject to us restricting the numbers of people in each location so social distancing may be maintained. Our digital office allows the team to work from anywhere with a secure internet connection, so to ease pressure in physical office space we’re still working from home quite often.

Although a small business by design, we do have a large footprint covering England, Scotland & Wales. Three members of the team have been impacted by the postcode local-lockdown lottery in England already and we’ve found dealing with the different regimes of the Scottish and Welsh governments  challenging. Erring on the side of caution we’re still not allowing clients in our office spaces, it’s not because we don’t love you, it’s because we do.

We’ve also decided to maintain the suspension of in-home client meetings for a little while longer although we’ve invested heavily in PPE and COVID Secure processes ready to resume ‘traditional meetings’ soon. In the meantime, we’re excited to visit clients for fair-weather garden meetings or  socially distanced strolls around the grounds at Ransom Hall for those who’d rather come to us.

It has been surprising how easily so many clients have made the move video-meetings with so few gremlins interfering;  these along with telephone meetings will remain available indefinitely.
